Of all the things I disagree with on senator Obama this one was top of my list for disagreement.
If the man can do this to a helpless child he has no pity for the human race.

"His record as an Illinois state senator is, if anything, more troubling. He opposed legislation that would have prevented infanticide against children who had survived abortion attempts. "

BBC is normally pretty far left so this is likely a puff piece in case he loses the election so they can claim they were trying to be objective. We'll probably see similar save face pieces now that our media thinks they got him elected.

Agree with JAP. Also Obama voted in favor of partial birth abortions It is a reprehensible procedure where a third trimester live baby is systematically murdered in utero then delivered "dead." Do a search, reading about it is fitting for Halloween.

Heard a discussion last night and tonight also which says Obama's promise to not raise taxes on anyone making less than $250k ......has dropped to less than $200k...... then less than $150K ...... then today less than $100k.

Also understand Obama voted to raise taxes on people making somewhere around $45k .........which is probably the number he meant in the first place when he began spitting out the $1mil a year or so ago.

Looks like his "slips" mean the truth is coming out, he's going to raise taxes on everyone above the poverty level. Obama can NOT be trusted to keep his word about anything.

Obama promotes poverty consciousness.

I've stayed off this site for months, since there are so many posts with misinformation. Every comment I posted was deleted anyway.   First of all, think about what you wrote. In the State of Illinois, not providing medical care to any fetus born alive is a felony and punishable by imprisonment and loss of license. Write about what you know, not what you don't understand. This is the same as saying Obama voted to cut funding for the troops without understanding the bill and that McCain voted exactly the same way. One had a timeline, one didn't. This man is a Christian who has been married to the same woman since college, unlike his opponent. He has never been censured or accused of wrongdoing, unlike McCain who "palled around" with Keating and Liddy. He has never been found guilty of abuse of power like his opponent's running mate. After upsetting the Catholics with the endorsement by his friend Pastor Hagee, the McCain people had to thing of something to get back their vote.

When Obama was running against Hillary Clinton, some Clinton supporters here wrote "I don't trust him" on blogs before they learned anything about him. I asked one person why and couldn't get an answer. Yes, it was "just something about him." (I wonder what?) McCain/Palin represent everything Hillary Clinton is against, so why would someone suddenly switch to the other side? I already know the answer, but nobody here will admit it.

Regarding the Keating 5, I watched the entire FBI film of McCain on that film. Yes it was film in those days and may still be available for viewing somewhere.

John McCain was Never Indicted. In fact I read that the prosecutor who was a Democrat felt there was absolutely NO CASE against McCain and didn't want to pursue it, but was under considerable pressure to do so. Political power play to make an example of the other party. Do not recall where I read that info but believe it may have been Powerline.
