How long did it take you to vote today?

Published:

I'm seeing all of these reports of long lines and 1,2,3 hour waits. How long did it take you to complete the voting process @ your polling place? I was geared up to wait in a long line. Took a book along with me.I drove up to my polling place, walked right up to the polling attendant, registered and voted. Probably five minutes.

I hope you all had a good experience in your voting place.

ZERO minutes. I voted by mail a few weeks ago. The only way to go!

It took me 2 hours to vote in a small rural town in South Carolina.

1 1/2 hour wait. 1 working machine (out of 2) for my precinct. Voted on paper. Maybe they'll count it. Maybe not.

Going out this morning I noticed long lines at the Elementary school. By the time that I returned home midday, there were no lines.

Went to the polls this am and turned around and came back home. About 100 people or so in line.
Short line tonight. Waited longer for a voting booth than It took to verify my eligibility.

Voted after work. Looked like nearly everyone else voted this morning. Huge crowd there as I passed on my way to work. I asked the folks at the polls about the crowds and they said it was busy all day, but crazy from 7 am to 1 pm. I walked right in and only had to wait behind the two who rode in the car with me - my son and my daughter.
