Puhleeze! He conceded because at that point it was statitically impossible for him to win. Even if he won all of the remaining states, he would never have gotten to 270. Period. End of story. I was on pins and needles all night. Obama was not projected to win by CNN or any other news station until all the polls had closed.

Obama got about 65 million votes from the people of the United States of America. That includes me and 64 million ++ others. I was not a member of any radical group. I was never approached by ACORN and I was born & raised here. In my 50+ years, I've never heard people rant and rave so much about a fair and democratic election. The people chose their candidate. Get over it!     

Any idiot knows how it works.   TigerAngel knows too. It's just mean spirited rhetoric. At least I hope she does or somebody is going to have to drag her back on that turnip trunk.

Very interesting read TigerAngel. I truly believe there has been voter fraud and campaign finance fraud perpetuated on the American public. But because this has been done in such a slick manner by the ruling party, I have little hope for justice. I pray to God that Obama is not Marxist.

This share the wealth attitude is very insulting. When my ex and I built our business, we beggared ourselves for several years until the business blossomed. Why would someone who knows nothing, gave nothing, and sacrificed nothing to build that business deserve to reap the rewards of our hard work? Why would the next person want to beggar themselves, work 90 hours per week, and sacrifice nearly everything to build up a business only to make the dude next door as "rich" as himself? The American Dream is to better yourself and make a better life for your children, not the Dude next door. Do people realize that guy making $250k per year in a 5 employee construction business probably has $1m worth of equipment loans to pay off? These take a large chunk of change each month. That loan payment is not a deduction from income for income statement or tax return purposes. (I'm an accountant - believe me I know)

Sorry for the rant. My daughter and I tried to start a side business together, but could not get enough cash out of it to pay the taxes even at the current tax rates. I still owe the IRS.

@Konane: There are a number of sci-fi shows/movies with that theme. But I personally think the most appropriate is The Manchurian Candidate. That movie IS Obama, you should watch it again and see the eerie similarities. Angela Lansbury was excellent in it, BTW.

Piaceri - I'm not concerned about a stolen election, what concerns me is when 1 (George Bush) who is chosen by the majority leads the sheeple over a cliff, then receives praise all the while by those who profess to be true Americans. As relentless as some have been regarding Obama's "alleged" citizenship issue, could they as much effort into justice for the victims of 9/11 and the financial ruins that ensued. If you voted for Mr. Bush twice, condoned his treatment of "alleged" terrorist and agree to continue to spend $10 Billion dollars a month on a war that he considered necassary, than you should not call anyone bamboozled or hoodwinked, less yourself.

Personally, I don't care that much about the birth certificate issue. I care more that ACORN needs investigation of their methods. I care more about the socialist knee-jerk reactions coming from the Democratic controlled Congress. I care more about the fact that we elected a President who has questionable associations with people that would prevent him from getting a security clearance with the FBI, the CIA, and the Secret Service if he were not President. I do not want to live in a socialist country. I want to live in a free market capitalist country. We already have a form of redistribution of wealth through our tax and welfare systems.

I want Obama, despite his being the most liberal voting Senator in Congress, to govern from the center, to resist the far left leanings of the Democratic Congress, and for the sake and survival of the America that I know and love - to be a successful President.

Piecira, ACORN registered voters. Voter registration, even if fraudulent, is not directly related to actual votes. I didn't work for ACORN but I did register some voters. Let's say I got paid (I didn't) and wanted to earn some extra credit, so I lied and turned in fake forms. How does that affect what actually happens at the polls on election night? Still, Obama not only won by a landslide of electoral votes, he won by about 8 million. If he won FL by 537 votes in FL like Bush in 2000, then you might have a point, although Charlie Crist, our Republican governor and friend of John McCain, said there was no problem with voter registration fraud and he felt confident in our system. However, when someone wins by such a huge margin, didn't that whole "voter fraud" crap go down the GOP toilet? What about the machines in West VA where the votes jumped from Obama to McCain? What about all the voter suppression by the Republicans? Still, despite all their efforts to smear the Obama campaign, he won because the people of America spoke.

I don't get it. If Michelle Obama had embezzled from her own company and been addicted to drugs, if Obama's daughter was older & got pregnant, if Obama had been involved in one of the biggest S&L scandals in history, he wouldn't have even made it to the convention. There is such a double standard here. I think you all know this but just won't let it rest. You probably know McCain was a big supporter of ACORN and spoke at one of their meetings saying they were what America is all about, but why mention it, huh?
