The Washington Post Ombudsman came out and admitted that they had it in to have McCain lose. That's OK. We knew that, and can't forget that, they'll do it again.

What bugs me is the rampant ignorance and latent racism coming from USAmericans that are totally free to pursue anything they want or desire. There is nothing holding anyone back in this country, eventually EVERYBODY needs to realize it is time to stop blaming others for their inadequacies, grow up, and take personal responsibilty for their own destinys. The govt. doesn't have the ability to support everybody all the time, the less govt. the better.   And many don't see that the expansion of govt. is what many are concerned about, NOT the color of their skin.

The shallowness of being unable to look beyond color is testament to the effectiveness of the leftist beat down of people. The way the left works is they pit groups against each other to achieve their lust for power, instead of promoting self confidence and achievement, they promote fallacies and hate as exhibited by the many hateful posts on this blogosphere.

Pretty sure the people back during the depression thought the very same thing, but we got through that.

Thanks Jarasan! You said "There is nothing holding anyone back in this country, eventually EVERYBODY needs to realize it is time to stop blaming others for their inadequacies, grow up, and take personal responsibility for their own destinys."

Such was the crux of my metaphysical posts, it's the heart of the Law of Attraction which empowers everyone to dream, believe and have faith in what they desire to create.

Thoughts, essence of those thoughts held in our minds create our reality whether we believe it or not. Puts responsibility squarely on our own shoulders to create our destiny.

Thanks PeacefulMan! Believe the Great Depression was an orchestrated event just like our current financial crisis has been orchestrated since the late 60's.

“Cloward-Piven Strategy” seeks to hasten the fall of capitalism by overloading the government bureaucracy with a flood of impossible demands, thus pushing society into crisis and economic collapse. "

Thanks konane. This perspective was written from the UK, not the USA.

On my blog I'm being told to get over it. We must watch and be diligent that our government does not take away our rights. This editorial from a British citizen watching and reporting on our elections was one of two disturbing pieces I read yesterday. The other I posted here http://www.lotterypost.com/blogcomments.asp?i=25511 Rahm Emanuel holds the same philosophy as Obama on mandatory civilian service, and coauthored a book that details how it would work in 2006.

It seems to me that roles have reversed with this election. Was it not the Democrats and those on the left who said we must be diligent in our watch over the government, and that it was patriotic to dissent? Now they are telling us to "get over it".

Thanks Piaceri! A friend emailed it to me last night, seems to describe our current trajectory also.

Many lefties change as the trendy wind blows, talking out of both sides of their mouths as you're experiencing.

Use your block feature, eliminates canned commentary from those who assume they 'know' the content of your post without benefit of reading it.
