Believe someone on LP mentioned Ford has a vehicle which gets 70 + MPG, only problem it's diesel and due to greenies they can't sell it in the US.

Each of the three CEO's took one of their fleet of Gulfstream private jets to go to Washington to beg for money. The cost of the flights was approx. $20,000 each. Coach fare on a commercial jet would have cost about $300. The UAW has a great insurance package for their members. Their insurers pay out about $19 million annually for Viagra.

I recognize the need to keep jobs at all costs during these times, but if they are not willing to help themselves then they deserve to fail.

Oh, I wouldn't mind 'them' (automakers, wall street, not-enough-income-to-afford-my-home buyers) failing so much, if they didn't threaten to take 'us' with them.
