Hypocrisy.

Published:

If you don't see it now you never will.

$150,000,000 for pomp and circumstance, you are being hoodwinked.

Could be the most expensive in history?

Give me a friggen break!

They are literally shutting the city down,  kinda reminiscient of East Berlin, North Korea,  welcome to change!

The drinking establishments will be open 24hrs. to service the celebrants!  WOW! Where is MADD? Where are the talking head doctors warning about alcohol binges?  Let's see: 43 was dragged thru the wringer for having been a drinker......................he quit long ago....................But now it is OK to drink and smoke 24hrs. round the clock, it's COOOOL!  Hypocrites!  It is sickening!

Exactly. And the news reporter that slammed President Bush for the $25 million for his last inauguration said that the expense (reported at the time as $50 million) for Obama's inauguration was justified because of the changing of the guard (not his words). The press corp has stopped standing up when President Bush enters the room, but jump to their feet when Obama gets anywhere near and he isn't even the president, yet. Yes, hypocrisy is right.

People once were able to spit tobacco in the spittoons and came in with muddy boots for the inauguration. And they were drunk and drinking right there in the White House.

It was a time when all men were not created equal in America even though it was written in the constitution. Now that's hypocrisy.

This event is history dude. This is something that no one thought that they would see in America in their lifetime. A black man is now the president of the US.

It deserves pomp and circumstance. Not hypocrisy at all but something that will be written in the history books at a time when people of all colors came together as one to rid the country of the greed and betrayal of those in charge. I'll say it's change.

Just remember to mention a few: 81 millions people lost their homes during the last presidency. Let's not talk about jobs and businesses lost. Not to mention all the other sufferings that the American people had to go though. I ain't never seen nothing like it. The domino effect is still tumblering. Now that's being hoodwinked.

We have 23 pairs of chromosomes from each parent so he is biracial. Neither black nor white the fact that he states he relates more with the black ancestory is just that a relationship. A man who may be torn between two worlds an he will be tested prodded and probed throughout his administration for the like.

This post is not about race, politics, economics, or Obama.   It is about fairness in reporting, it just doesn't exist anymore.

HUH!
This had nothing to do with Bush. The Financial problems where all caused by Wall Street investors. The Price of Gas also caused by Investors, not by supply and demand!!!

Great point Tenaj, Jarasan has something against President Elect Obama, he has been saying things like that since the campaign! Everything he has posted about Obama has been negative.

I don't have anything to say, so forgive me if I just write something silly.

God Bless America and President-Elect Obama. May he lead us into a world where there are no haves and have nots, but united Americans who work together in peace to strengthen our country. A place where your heart & your mind have more importance than your color or gender.   A place where a hug and a prayer has more effect than torture or a bullet.

Maybe it's my after dinner drink that's talking, but I see great things can be possible from the new administration. Don't turn away or you might not rejoice in the change that will life up our spirits.

Peace to all.

Always God Bless America! And peace on Earth!

150 people walk away from a crashed AirBus in the middle of the Hudson river!

Definitely, no doubt, God does bless America!

Kudos to NYC first responders and homeland security training!

Again, I shall reiterate. This is not about race, politics, economics, or Obama.

It is about fairness in reporting, it doesn't exist anymore.   I recommend reading Aldous Huxley's Brave New World.

Tyranny of thought, behavior, and values. This unchecked, is what will ruin us. A crisis of confidence, an abstract psychosis placed in the minds of the gullible and uninquisitive.

It overwhelms common sense and original thought, one half the masses have succumb to the orators of despair and pessimism, to have one half the masses believe there is only one answer: dependence and allegiance to a fabricated bureaucracy of failed, retreaded policies.

Believe in yourselves, for your own sakes. No one govt. or overseer will improve your lot in life, they will only diminish your self worth.

Walk on the wings of self reliance, shed the crutches, and you will succeed!!

Why not give President- Elect Obama a chance before you start railroading him. We gave Bush that opportunity and he failed badly. Give Obama a chance and if he doesn't do better than Bush, then I'll be the first to point out what's wrong, but he hasn't had a chance from the beginning.   He's been on the hot seat since people found out who he was. Is it really not about race? I have to wonder.

You are right about the news reports. Fox news slams Obama every chance it gets and we all know why! I think they all stink when it comes to the news, any news. They are all biased either one way or another. How can that be news? It's only opinions.
Thank God, we can form our own opinions or we would be in trouble. It doesn't matter who's President, God's will is what will be done in the end, and what's ahead in prophecy aint a pretty sight. President-Elect Obama might be sorry he's President when the time of trouble gets deeper. We need to come together and pray for our leaders instead of ridiculing them. So, all of a sudden Obama's not a black man, huh! how do we determine what a black man is and what difference does it make what color he is? Race always comes into the picture.   It's 2009 and racism still prevails. So sad!

Wiltay, God love ya.

Fox News is just another orator of pessimism and despair.

And Wiltay if you look into a mirror and read carefully what has been written, it is you, it is us, who are being railroaded! We can't railroad anybody or anything, because the arbitor of truth has been co-opted by the forces that seek to control our very lives and existence! The arbitor (journalism) used to be objective, this is not the case anymore.

This isn't about race, politics, economics, or Obama.

Journalism has become a propaganda arm of whatever it seeks to promote,   this is the hypocrisy I write of.

Please come visit us in Washington D.C. there are plenty of rooms available, over 800 in D.C. proper and 15,000 in the surrounding areas.

Have railed about media/press bias in my blog .... Jarasan makes a very clearly outlined and defined point about just that, nothing more.

Around the time I entered high school our television broke and my parents didn't get a new one until after I graduated high shool. A very wise decision because there's a gap in my "media programming" so it's easier to objectively see their mission.

Media wields power to create BIG MONEY'S INTENDED agenda for us in a manner we think it's a reflection of our own opinion being telecast.

Egregious media bias so obvious it's telecast 24/7 in flashing neon.
