Really? How "unbelievable" is it when the same people who screwed up in New Orleans just sent residents in Kentucky emergency food kits possibly tainted with salmonella? Okay - not the SEC, but FEMA is a government agency.
One year my income was "suspiciously too low" and the IRS wanted to know how I was paying my bills (seriously) No problem, everything was kosher and the examiner was very nice, but it shows that a red flag alerted a government agency when a taxpayer was struggling, but when an investor is making billions, massive fraud goes unnoticed. Huh?? Yes, not the SEC, but the IRS is another government agency.
So what's the answer? Doesn't the Constitution & the Declaration of Independence give us the right to overthrow the government when it fails and no longer serves the good of the people?
We as a People use to take to the streets and protest, march on Washington to express our outrage. I think the ones that still would like to do this has health issues that prevents this, or just think things are so hopeless than it won't do any good. I don't feel that way!! I say MARCH ON WASHINGTON!! Show them that we won't take this crap anymore and we want OUR Government to work for US!! Whew!
