He always ended his commentary with "good day" and it kind of stuck with you, I meant to say. May the man rest in peace.

Yes, rest in peace. I wonder why when someone is rich & famous, some people say it's so sad when he or she passes away at age 90. I've seen that on the news today when Harvey is mentioned. Are they supposed to live until 120? My neighbor knocked on my door at 9:00 to tell me her son dropped dead yesterday at 45. He has 7 young children and they recently moved into a trailer park after his wife lost her job.

Yes, Harvey was a gifted broadcaster, and I listened to him frequently when I was younger. However, his attitude sometimes bothered me. He was a real hawk when it came to war and didn't think the United States should have compassion when bombing children in foreign countries. Of course, he didn't especially like Blacks or Hispanics either, so why would he care about dead babies in Afghanistan? Oh, I can hear it now. Someone is going to call me a Liberal again.

Rest in peace, Mr. Harvey. I hope you run into George Carlin and he sits down and explains a few things to you about the way things should be.
