Here you have a beat down of a few republicans by the lovely Barney Frank (D) when Nancy Pelosi was "unavailable".   And as you can see there are many empty seats of other absent congress people,  your tax dollars at work.  The gavel kept coming down and the spit kept flying whilst these poor Repubs. were trying to get on the record the Nancy Pelosi exception on a bill  in her district for Starkist tuna by asking for it to applicable to American Samoa.

I don't Frank's voice any more than you, but he was right. As he said, the House has rules and they weren't being followed.   Sometimes the only way to get people in line is to stand on your ground. I don't know if anyone here has been to a trial or involved in a court battle, but you can't just bring up an issue that's irrelevant to a hearing or you'll be shut off as quickly as Frank did here. If a judge told you to shut up and you didn't, you'd be fined. This was a meeting to discuss Embryonic Stem Cell funding. Congressman Frank answered the original question and then the other man continued to ask the question anyway. I don't see why Frank was out of line at all.   The "poor republicans" were trying to take advantage of him because the Speaker wasn't there and broke procedure. Why isn't this clear to you?

I must have deleted a couple words in error when I was editing. First sentence should read "I don't like Frank's tone of voice"

Even WorldNet Daily which is a right-wing, conservative blog praised McHenry for "heckling" Barney Frank. So the question was asked and answered and the answer was "no."

This is the man you are defending, by the way. McHenry is a piece of dirt who called a United States military man a "2 bit security guard."   Imagine if these words came out of the mouth of a Democrat. As I said, we all have videos. I think if you want to compare apples to apples, I can find a lot more rotten apples.

Ok! Like the title says "More tax dollars at work". The house chamber was deplete of both parties in the video that I posted. Barney Frank is drunk with power right now along with the rest of the "present partay" in power.

What really scared me today was Obama equating Geitner with Alexander Hamilton! To be elaborated upon shortly.

This congreffman Barney Frank, is especially what Thomas Jefferson warned of!

You've got to get a sense of humor, Jarasan. I posted the links of McCain sleeping to lighten you up, but apparently you are on a rampage.   I don't know Frank personally, but I can only tell you what I know from living in MA. Barney Frank has always been very well respected & liked. As I said, I honestly don't know him, but I listened to what others said about him, and it was all good.

By the way, it is amazing to me that everyone is crying about the taxes we're spending now. In 8 years we went from a balanced budget to a huge deficit and from a thriving economy to a recession. I was going to start a blog about AIG, but I'm sick of hearing about the lousy $165 million. I'm probably the only person on the planet who isn't "outraged" by the bonuses. It isn't even as large as some of the PB jackpots! LOL   I certainly wouldn't pay it back. ;=)

OMG! OMG! Shoot me please. I just heard that Rush Limbaugh said the AIG executives should get their bonuses. Does this mean that I agree with something he said? Tell me it ain't so. ;-)
