I've seen the clip, but haven't heard the media spin on this. It would seem to me that the person responsible for foreign policy and diplomacy -- would consider that at times a statement could be mistranslated or that a person could be nervous and misspeak. We may never appreciate how fortunate we are that she was not placed in the position of receiving that "3 AM phone call".

Thanks Time*treat!! I read something to the effect the person translating probably said Pres. Clinton meaning Obama. Not buying it. I honestly believe the person questioning wanted to know what Bubba though because women in some areas of the world are so reliant on husband's or father's mindsets to formulate their own public discourse. Yes indeed we are blessed many times over in that respect.
