They wonder why there are always a shortage of teachers. Her salary couldn't have been much than that. And to make things worse, she lost 120 days which makes her lose a year towards retirement. I would have been looking for another school and another type of work. The bad part is when students pull these pranks or do things willfully that get teachers suspended or their name dirtied, nothing is ever done to them. I feel that it would be fair if the teacher could sue for damages. There are too many of these incidences and at some point in time, someone is going to retaliate. Just because you chose to teach, that doesn't mean you gave up your rights as a citizen.
