Joker17, I also lived in a haunted house as a child. Twenty years later the new owners told me of their experiences with the ghost. (Background: area was built on Sauk Indian land and we were on the burial ground I think.) When I was a child, my brother and I saw the silhouette of someone outside our bedroom window in the middle of the night digging a hole with a long shovel. After about ten minutes the digger stopped and we saw him walk around the back of the house (silhouette on white shades on a full moon night). Anyhow the next day we went out to see what he was digging and there was absolutely no sign of disturbed dirt or grass. Oddest thing. But I had many other experiences including the "sitting at the foot of the bed" routine. I used to hate going to sleep at night as a kid.

Had a friend on my apt. complex who had a poltergeist. I witnessed a glass being knocked over by itself and a coffee cup fall from the cupboard and break on the floor when no one was in the kitchen. It had to fly over one foot of counter top to be able to hit the floor . After years of this he had an exorcism done and it seemed to work. It just so happens that someone was murdered several years earlier right by his bldg., close to his downstairs unit. I think it was the ghost of the victim.

Kids are always more open to seeing stuff like this until grownups teach them 'how things really are'. Joker do you have telekinetic abilities, or do you think the earthbound spirit moved with you?

Rick from what I've read fairly recently your experience as a kid seems to be a time-imprint you saw, probably not a real ghost. However just enough to scare the bejeezus out of a kid.

I understand that if you tell them to look for the people who loved them who are standing in the light ... and go to them ... they'll may be able to cross over.

I had vivid visitors all my life. During the time my grandfather was ill I was too young to be exposed to the streeses of it, it was being kept from me, but even with that protection I was visited by a visitor every night for a week and the day he passed on she stopped. The only thing she would do was come out of the same corner of my bedroom and stand at the foot of my bed. I think I was in the 2nd grade then.

I can't remember a time that I have not had visitors, or some force that protects me. I do warn people that they should be careful if they want to harm or wish me harm, because the Universe will always even out the score.

I doubt very much that the good visitors help people that are not true in the heart, in other words, they help good people. And if you have a black heart or aura will only draw the dark side. I try to keep a true heart, I never hold bad thoughts or wish harm to others, and try to help others everyday. That is the purpose of the visitors helping you, so you can help others.

If you are brave, welcome your visitors and be friendly. NEVER curse them, they can make your life very difficult. Ask them for answers to questions that you would like answered and for help in a situation. Talk to them kindly when you hear the rattles, say hello and tell them that they are welcomed if they are good visitors.

Many times I contribute those visitors for saving me a lot of trouble, even saving my life. If they do tell you something to protect you take it as an important message.

I can't imagine that there are only 3 demensions, there must be more than just 3, and if so, what are the other demensions all about?
