No matter what "side" you're on, no American citizen should be subjected to the kind of weapons used against the protesters in Pittsburgh.   High pitch sounds can cause permanent ear damage like tinnitus.

By the way, time*treat, this was the Pittsburgh cops, but since Tiger Angel told me to keep my opposing opinions off his blog, I guess I can't question why you think a campaign promise has been broken. Police are local and state governed.

If these devices were *not* meant to be used on American soil, they would *not* be here and they would *not* be available to "local and state governed" police forces. ... But then I'm watching what they DO instead of beLIEving what they SAY. ;-)

Well, time*treat, I won't read this blog any more (actually I thought I was already blocked here) since I'm not supposed to comment. I definitely agree that rights were violated.   I just hope people remember who the bad guys are.   Remember a blog I once posted, when I was thinking about getting $12 an hour as a census taker to make some extra money? I'm sure you know what I mean, since you follow the news.   I guess if we're passing the blame around, maybe Michelle Bachmann should be held liable for inciting a murder.

This is the bottom line. It's not a demopublicrant issue, it's a US Citizen issue. If it happens on a Pittsburgh street corner it happens on every street corner. They won't be asking the crowd what political affiliations they have before they use the weapons.

Agree with Rick, seem to be some similarities with Kent State except they have more modern means of crowd control rather than bullets used then. Just my opinion.
