Good lord these are young people not tired old 60's retreaded astro-turfers.

They *WANT* people to get PO'd and react violently. That's part 1 of the plan.

I am not talking about an unplanned spontaneous violent reaction. Pay attention to how just a few thousand insurgents in Iraq, Afghanistan can keep the most powerful military at bay for 7 years!   With some organization 200 people could have taken everyone of those jackbooted morons as hostages. I'd hate for that to happen........................

As a former protester and someone who was in college in 1969 when student at Kent State were shot by the Natl Guard, I certainly am not going to defend aggressive police action. However, I've heard personal accounts that thousands of people peacefully protested without incidence. There were a lot of trouble makers and arrests for property damage, so we're not seeing the whole picture. This isn't a Left or Right issue, since the Constitution guarantees Freedom of Assembly. But here's a different account. I think some peaceful protesters got caught up in the chaos. I usually don't use the New York Post as a source, but youtube isn't exactly the gospel either.
