They are circling the wagons of lies. There is a universal truth and it goes like this: "You can't keep a growing lie hidden, because eventually the truth will come out." The lies eventually contradict or become incongruant, I hate to make this comparison but I will, it is similar to the genocide committed by the nazis, no one would believe that the exterimination was taking place, but it was. You now have a lie being perpetuated by pretending and ignoring the facts. Pathetic.
