Putting the finishing touches on an experimental Pick 3 System involving VTRACS in EXCEL.

The system involves using all states and Canadian Pick 3 Midday and Evening drawings.

There a total of 35 BOXED VTRAC combinations.

111 222 333 444 555

112 113 114 115 224
144 244 155 255 355
455 122 133 233 225
334 335 445 223 344

123 124 125 135 145
245 345 134 234 235

Notice there are 5 Triples, 20 Doubles, and 10 No-Match.

If you sort this list of BOXED VTRACS you will notice that there are 15 Boxed Combinations that begin with the VTRAC #1 in the 1st Position and there are 15 Combinations that begin with the VTRAC # 5 in the 3rd Position.

It is fair to say that VTRAC #1 should hit every 2.5 drawings and the VTRAC #5 should hit every 2.5 drawings.  Any state with a skip of more than 2 we need to watch.

What if we were to track each state and look for the following:

VTRAC # 1 in the 1st Position that has a current skip of 3 or more drawings.

VTRAC # 5 in the 3rd Position that has a current skip of 3 or more drawings.

This would be the list of States that would qualify for Friday 8/26/05:

Midday

VTRAC # 1

Delaware (3 skips)

Missouri (3 skips)

Tr-state (3 skips)

VTRAC # 5

Ohio (5 skips) ***

Virginia (3)

So out of 19 possible states , 3 states qualify for VTRAC #1 and 2 states Qualify for VTRAC #5.

-------------------------------

Evening

VTRAC # 1

Kansas (4 skips)

Ontario (4 skips)

VTRAC # 5

Florida (3 skips)

Idaho (3 skips)

Louisiana (6 skips) *****

West Virginia (4 skips)

---------------------------------------

Out of 39 possible states, 2 states qualify for VTRAC #1 and 4 states qualify for VTRAC #5.

So I believe this tells us that most states follow the norm.

The bottom line is we are looking for the VTRAC #1 or digits 0 and 5

                                                                VTRAC #5 or digits 4 and 9

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Now what if we set up 2 VTRAC Charts.  1 for VTRAC #1 and a second for VTRAC #5

                                   CHART 1  VTRAC #1

            A              B                C                 D                     E

          111

          112          113          114              115
          144          122          155
                                            133

          123          124          125              135                145
                                            134

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

                                  CHART 2  VTRAC #5

            A              B                C                 D                     E

                                                                                        555

          455          335          155              115

                                            445              255                225

          245            345          125              135                145
                                                                                        235

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The next step is to track each the combinations in A B C D E and find out what lettered column has been consistently hitting in the last 35 drawings.  Or if you like playing the longest skips you can look for these.

Let's use an example:

Delaware Midday drawings as of this morning 8/25/05:

A  B  C    D   E

1  3  5    4  0  = current skips  (see chart in previous blog)

What we are looking for is the VTRAC #1

Yesterday's VTRAC for Midday 8/24/05 was 2 2 4

So what we want to do is look for VTRAC Boxed combinations with a 12_, 14_, from the chart below:

                                  CHART 1  VTRAC #1

            A              B                C                 D                     E

          111

          112          113          114              115
          144          122          155
                                            133

          123          124          125              135                145
                                            134

The problem is there are too many combinations so we need to narrow the selection down to 1 to 2 choices or 1 Lettered Column.

To do this we need to track the past 35 drawings and see where the skips are taking place.

Currently Delaware Midday is at the following:

O skip or repeat has occured 5  times in the last 35 drawings

1 skip                                       3  times

2 skips                                    5 times

3 skips                                    8 times

So the best skip is currently 3 skips.  So if we look at our A B C D E Chart

A  B  C    D   E

1  3  5    4  0

We see the Lettered "B" column at 3 skips.

Our possible VTRAC combinations would be  122 and 124.

Or Digit boxed combinations:

011  016  061  066  511  516  561  566

013  018  063  068  513  518  563  568

Again, this is just experimental.
