Do you ever play Pick 3/4 in NJ? Or The Numbers in RI? If so you're probably aware of the "Instant Match" feature. I played it once in NJ, and it's a lot of fun. It's true instant gratification. No waiting, no thinking, not even any scratching. Just match any of the Instant Match numbers with any of your numbers, and you win.
Which begs the question, why aren't more states doing this? And for one, why isn't PA, the most innovative lottery around, doing it. Daily Number and Big 4 are mondo popular, and the Instant Match would only make it more popular. They have the capability to do it, because they have an Instant Win feature in Lucky For Life. The problem with that is it only has one prize ($10), it only says "Winner" or "No Winner", and it's a mandatory feature. I'd much rather have a game that needs livening up, like DN or B4, getting such a feature. So how about it, Gus? Think you can do without scratchin' for one game?
