2010 Did not drop in Missouri, What is the Liability Limit?

Published:

Hello!!!!!!

I know that some numbers fall on "dates",  today is, 1/1/2010 .

Missourians locked out 2010 in the pick 4 and it did not drop.  I am wondering what is the liability limit for a pick 4 number in Missouri.

If the number is locked out= you can't play it any more.  So, that means they collected a liability limit= what they will pay out.

So, where does the money go, when a number is locked out, and it does not drop?

Just wondering, just curious.

The same thing happened on, 8/8/2008 around the world, and I don't believe 888's dropped in any state?

I see the answer at the link that JAP69 posted. It looks like what you asked.

Maybe we don't understand your question?

The money collected goes to the same place it would on any other day, minus the payout for any winners. The liability limit is not the amout collected, but rather the max ceiling amount for the payout if the number were to hit.

Hello:

O.K. This is the question, "How much is the liability limit"?
I tried to play, 2010 on Jan. 1, 2010 but, the machine kicked my ticket back out, the clerk said, "you can't play this number, it's locked out"? So, that means, so many people bet that number , which means, it met the liability limit, which is what amout for the Pick 4? That was the question.
I was just curious about the $ amount that was collected when a number is locked out on a pick 4 game.

Thanx.

The liability limit is $2 million for Pick 3 and $2 million for Pick 4.
If $400 total straight equivalent is bet on a p4 number (or $4,000 on a p3 number) that number gets locked.
