Shotguns are an odd choice of weapon for the IRS. These are issued for SWAT team home invasions or riot control. I guess they will be storming our homes for delinquent taxes. I'm trying to figure out the difference between them and the run-of-the-mill crack heads who break into our homes to steal and plunder.

Starting to feel like one of those slaves in the galley...forced to row the boat with the threat of the cat-o-nine tails and no escape from the leg chains.   How is this any different than slavery and how is tax collection any different than robbery??

The main difference is that the galley slaves knew they were slaves. :) Today, betting that your numbers will fall is gambling, but betting that your stocks (or real estate) will go up is ... investing. Put enough lipstick on the pig and a majority of people will not only accept it, they will argue you down that it's "nothing at all" like a pig.
