What I find odd is that the CDC claims 57 million Americans (1 out of every 6 or 7 people) contracted and *recovered* from swine flu. With immunity like that ... Meanwhile, the "get your flu shot" commercials are still on TV.

Thanks Time*treat! Apparently they don't want to waste all the vaccine that was made in such a hurry. ;-)

Have to agree with t*t...very odd. Have yet to come in contact with ANYONE who has had it. The 57 million figure gave me a hearty laugh though. The hits just keep on coming...

Thanks Rick! Around here we've had run of the mill stuff, tv reporting on cases of swine flu but like both of you I've not run into anyone who said they had it.

I guess everyone who sneezed between October and January was counted as having swine flu. :0)
Checking the census site, their estimate of 308.8MM people living in the USA brings the ratio to 1 in ~5.4.
Too bad some would-be mothers bought into the nonsense and lost their unborn as a result.
