Believe It Or Not

Whether you think you're one or not, and you very well may be, I am definately a Lottery Expert. What exactly is Lottery Expert though? It's someone who knows how to play, what you get should you win, and someone who knows how the game and the industry works. There are plenty of people here who fall into that category.

I say this because someone has joined this board reletively recently, and while this member claims to have studied the lottery, he has been bleeding ignorance. I won't say exactly what he has said, but they're pretty dumb. And while I have seen dumb posts from others, they never claimed to be expert on the subject like this guy has. This guy is extremely arrogant, even more than me. If you know who I'm talking about, don't take him seriously. He doesn't know what he's talking about.

Ah, Jimmy. Off-line you can spot an expert by his necktie, briefcase, and his laid-back demeanor. Online you just have to examine what he says, as opposed to what he claims. The internet is making experts at spotting experts without seeing the necktie and the briefcase. No point in being annoyed by the poster.

In areas involving gambling there's a bottom line defining experts, whether they've got neckties and briefcase, whether they've got attitude, whether they make claims, or don't.

Gambling experts win, long-term. People who believe they're experts and aren't will see their skills reflected in their pocketbooks. The casinos are full of people who believe they're gambling experts of one sort or another.

My impression is that most of the regular posters on LP believe they're experts. Some almost certainly actually are. But if you hold the fact a poster believes he's an expert, and isn't, against him you'll soon find you have something against most of the people who post here.
