The Beginning

 

When we sat and talked,

I looked into your eyes and

saw them sparkle and gleam.

I asked God "Is she my fate or just a dream"?

 

Then you asked me to dance,

You took my hand and lead me to the dance floor.

I felt something, but like nothing

I had ever before.

 

As we danced our third slow dance,

Holding one another tight;

We both felt a bit of fright,

Even though we had just met that night;

We wondered, "could this be right"?

 

Then you asked to see me often and again,

Now let the dating and our lives begin.
