Bp has no control of our lands and water, if there is blocking it's being done by our government. the place is crawling with FBI and they don't answer to the brits.

The USA does not either, sully16. If you remember, this country is completely bankrupt and is owned by the Fed Res and its creditors, so who really knows who's blocking what.

My understanding is that the Gulf is closed to flight and likely news or spectators due to chemicals being belched up from the bowels of the earth one being hydrogen sulfide which displaces oxygen in your body and can cause immediate death. That info was found in a cursory read about what's coming up in crude before it's refined.   Sun baking oil slick hastens evaporation of such chemicals. Have read benzene compounds are in oil dispersants which have long term carcinogen producing effects. Under those hazardous conditions I can see why it would be fully off limits to anyone not involved directly in the cleanup. If federal law enforcement is there then they're in control not BP.
