"Chris Matthews, Keith Olbermann and Howard Fineman react to President Obama's Oval Office Address on the oil spill. Here are the highlights of what the trio said:

Olbermann: "It was a great speech if you were on another planet for the last 57 days."

Matthews compared Obama to Carter.

Olbermann: "Nothing specific at all was said."

Matthews: "No direction."

Howard Fineman: "He wasn't specific enough."

Olbermann: "I don't think he aimed low, I don't think he aimed at all. It's startling."

Howard Fineman: Obama should be acting like a "commander-in-chief."

Matthews: Ludicrous that he keeps saying [Secretary of Energy] Chu has a Nobel prize. "I'll barf if he does it one more time."

Matthews: "A lot of meritocracy, a lot of blue ribbon talk."

Matthews: "I don't sense executive command."

Thanks TigerAngel! I kinda listened .... listen to tv more than I watch it. Best way to stay away from the drama they try to involve you with. SOS

I'm like TigerAngel....I don't let any of them into my living room. Especially BO...he's a NLP pro and his speechifying is only an exercise in hypnosis. From the comments I'm seeing, he said very little...that indicates his speech had hidden messages. Example: the repeating of the Nobel laureate mantra...we are supposed to connect the fact that HE is a "Nobel laureate" and therefore he is somehow infallible.

Thanks Rick! Interesting illusions .... infallibility and delusions of grandeur, knowing without saying.

All hypnosis is self hypnosis so anyone falling under the spell has done so willingly has the ability to snap themselves out of it.

What's the show on tv, the Hypnotist or something like that which shows simple suggestion by a pleasant looking character after he casually gets someone's attention? People might want to watch it a couple of times.
