Today, on day 7 of the 2010 Wimbledon Championships, Venus Williams was to play on court 2 and was late. Well, she was suppose to receive an escort out to the court, but apparently no one showed up so she was 8 mins. late for her 4th round match. Some of the disrespectful, nincompoops in the stands started to boo her when she arrived onto the court and the match finally got underway. Well, Venus ended up winning the  match be a score of 6-4, 7-5. Now she moves on to the quarterfinals where she will face Tsvetana Pironkova on June 29, 2010.
