On June 18, 2010, Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl told the audience at a North Phoenix Tea Party town hall meeting that during a private, one-on-one meeting with President Obama in the Oval Office, the President told him, regarding securing the southern border with Mexico, "The problem is, . . . if we secure the border, then you all won't have any reason to support 'comprehensive immigration reform"
I saw this the other day and been looking all over for it.
Here is the video, only 4 minutes long.

"The problem is, . . . if we secure the border, then you all won't have any reason to support 'comprehensive immigration reform"

Creating a problem then providing the solution. (Is that why nothing is being done about the oil volcano?) But he hit a key point. If our borders were secure, then we wouldn't need 'comprehensive immigration reform'. In other words, if immigration laws were enforced there would be no immigration problem.

Our federal gov't is failing miserably at every level.

Thanks for the video, T-A. I got a kick out of the audience reaction. Gasps of astonishment. Most people are innocents and don't realize how treasonous our gov't is.

What we need are lawsuits, If you have a relative or yourself was hurt, maimed or killed by an illegal ,file the biggest lawsuit against the gov. and make it nationally public. The liberal newsmedia is not reporting the crimes committed, In Detroit, they pile in empty houses and hook up electricity, gas water...that theft is passed on to us the people who pay our bills. When they set the   house on fire because the electrical hack job they did, well guess what? my taxes your taxes go for the first responders..the fire department. in the mean time American tax payers may or may not have these services available to them right away. The minute one of them gets pregnant they get wic a form of welfare, they get medical services for free and immunizations, all of this out of our pockets.
Then they have the blantant audacity to complain about us...I don't want to see any child go hungry, but , your not going to take food away from my kid.
To them I say go back to your own country and fight for your independence and guess what I'll be happy to support your fight for your freedom in your country.
WE HAVE BEEN USED LONG ENOUGH.

Elections have consequences. We are learning just what consequences with this Joker-in-Chief. I love it when he says our immigration policy is broken. He ought to know. He is the one who broke it. Rather than fix the problem by enforcing the law, he want to give us apromise to secure the border if we give him amnesty.

We fell for that line in 1986. That's what Reagan said to us. Well, we gave Reagan amnesty and he promised to secure the border. How did that work out?

This time the government needs to secure the border first. After we see how well the border is sealed, then we'll talk about amnesty.

Thanx Rick. I hadn't thought of that but it is just like Problem-Reaction-Solution.
Agree with Sully. Why don't they fight in Mexico for a better country there.
Also agree whole heartedly with your comments GMG. Thanx.
