Good article until they got to the "liberal US media" part. The few corporate interests that control our media are not liberal or conservative. Their agenda has nothing to do with political ideology. That's only for the consumption of us plebes.

Thanks Rick! Lull us into believing everything's fine so we'll spend our money on whatever trinkets they're selling.

Thanks Sully! None of them are responding to voters wishes. If they were they'd be heading things in a different direction.

Bush also governed against the wishes of the people; not often but often enough to elect Obama. McCain is just another Obama albeit not as aggressive. The conservative base was just not energized to leave the house and vote. They really did not care as both candidates are socialists/communists.

I am surprised that Obama is allowing the people to see just how disdainful he thinks of the public. Politicians are usually smarter than that. But "smart" is not one of Obama's strong points.

Thanks Gasmeterguy! Believe the conservative base saw more of the same if McCain were elected, but we're getting more of the same anyway.
