The Company will not insure title to any property which has been foreclosed by Ally Financial, Ally Bank or GMAC until further notice.

Thanks Konane,
I knew about title insurance and searches on property recods but forgot about it. I have dealt with a few property sales and their must be a clean paper trail from as far back as you can go on the property.
Property generaly must be free and clear before transfer. With these mortgage papers being shredded creates a huge gap.

Thanks JAP! Yep same here, knew but forgot. This is going to be interesting to follow because I believe there are a couple of other companies that write title insurance.
