Instead of telling your boyfriend to do himself crazy stuff in his hair, or tattoed himself to kingdom come, or wear out of the world sunglasses, or if he listen to a particular type of MUSIC, ask him if he belongs to this competition or if he is helping build it/promote it...Tell your girlfriend that too....
