Finally moving to California
Published:
I just called my sister in California, and she got an apartment of her own. She's gonna let me live there for a few months until I get situated. This won't happen until June of next year, but I'm so happy it's not even funny.
I hate Southwest Florida so much. I've been here for 11 years and tried to go to Cali 3 different times, but came back because I didn't plan it successfully. Now i can do it right. I can't wait....
I used to live in Los Angeles back in 1991 and fell in love with California. This time, I'll be in Glendora California which is about 45 minutes east from downtown L.A.
The area I live in now is a tourist town, so work is seasonal. It's either feast or famine and I'm about fed up.
I definitely have one cool sister.
Also, my dad is getting older and may need my assitance from time to time. My sister is doing ok, but she had a mild stroke last year from her Diabetes, and her left eye is in bad shape because of the stroke. She only has about 10% of her vision which will hopefully improve once she gets surgery done to heal her retina. She also may need my assitance in some way.
California here I come.....!

Best of luck when you make the move...
Appreciated it Rick. I hope so too.
Thanx for the kind words Maddog. That feeling of relief from feeling trapped in a place, knowing there is no way out of this situation is almost as good as a P-4 straight win....lol...No, but seriously, my heart and soul is in L.A. It always was and always will be.
I wanna shoot for San Diego eventually. 70 degrees most of the year, sunny, and hardly ever rains. In time.....
I can almost hear and see the countdown to the event. The mere thought is giving me the impetus to deal with the battle.
It's like the scene in the movie ...."Matrix". The part when Neo finally realizes his power in the hallway, and stops the bullets inches away from his hands.
Sounds good.
