My Father Died today 12/27/10

My Father died of Lung cancer Today, at the age of 82. He fought it for over a year. I was there today when they took the life support off. They had done all they could for him. He smoked for most of his adult life. I will miss him.

I can't know the depth of your sorrow, but I know that it is yours for as long as you need it. However, I do know that great memories, good conversations with family and friends about your beloved parent from the past, family pictures, and prayers from many sources will lessen the loss. To this end, I am praying for you and your family - asking for comfort and strength.

You have my deepest sympathy. My father died of the same disease, although he died at home. It's funny, I was thinking today of how much I miss both my mother and father. Dad died in 1988, Mom in 1998. Remember the good times. God bless you and your family and give you the strenght it will take to get through your time of mourning.

My prayers go out to you. I lost my father on august first of this year. Try to remember the funny things about him in his old age. It makes you laugh and not be so sad.

Sorry about your dad. My deepest sympathy to you and your family. He lived a long life even at 82. Remember the good times.They keep me going. Lost my mom 2 years ago and my Brother in August. I feel you..

Dave, I'm so sorry to hear about your dad. I lost a very dear friend to lung cancer a couple of years ago - still miss her very much. My sympathy and prayers are with you and your family during this very difficult time.
