Interesting. There are defintely some shenanigans going on with the store owner and his wife. I agree with one of the commenters from the article. The ownees are probably cashing tickets in for less than the win to customers who don't want o go on the books and/or pay child support and don't want the govt. to know they are making money.

Winning 115 times totally over $200,000 in winning scratch-offs does set red flags off, and the lottery officials need to do a more thourogh investigation on the store owner.

agree with Joker, and if they are helping someone to not pay child support, thats just wrong.

This type of action on the part of store owners has been going on in Memphis for years. So what is the problem? There are groups of people who can not come forward to claim a prize due to outstanding warrants, legal status, ex-spouses, and so on. These people will sell a winning ticket for far less than the payout. Something is better than nothing.

Every state with Lottery needs to do sting operations like California does.

Thanks Joker! I found the data presented in that segment was amazing & astounding to say the least. Maybe ET's have been telling her how to win so much! ;-)

Thanks TigerAngel! Yes agree if enough complaints are lodged against a particular vendor.

@Gasmeterguy,

It's not so much the person cashing in the tickets that bothers me, bu the owners who are partaking in a racket and lying about it.
