Personally, I love the geotagging features of digital photos and video. When you import them to your PC, you get a complete record of everywhere you took your photos and video. It's pretty great use of technology.

It's pretty easy to scrub out any tags. I'm pretty sure the free Irfanview software can do it quickly.
