Give a person a fishing pole...

(Note: This is not in reference to Jack's last great blog entry or to Jack personally at all, I'm just paraphrasing his blog title.)

Give a person a fish or give them a fishing pole or give them bait, but PLEASE in the name of all that is HOLY and GOOD, quit shoving the carp, the hook, line, sinker, rod and reel down their throats EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! And when the bait, rod, line and hook aren't enough, don't treat them like a 3 year old and teach them how to put the worm on the hook....EVERY SINGLE DAY....OVER AND OVER AND OVER ad infinitum...............................

I know, I know.....the Doc says my blood pressure is high and my alcohol intake is excessive and the tobacco is not helping and the drugs he's prescribing are different from the one's I'm taking......but give me a break!!! I like "v's" and I like NASCAR racing, but anything can be overdone, kind of like wearing a pair of underwear for a week. Get my drift?

And please....you didn't have to read this blog so save any "you don't have to read it" response for your 1040 next year.

Are you complaining about the content of another blogster's entires? It's a PERSONAL journal, so he's free to write whatever he wants. I suppose you're also free to complain about his content, but the nice thing about blogs is that people can feel liberated to write about whatever topic strikes their fancy, as long as they are not using their blog to launch all-out attacks on people, or using it as ad space.

Todd,
Paragraph number one EXPLICITLY says that I'm not ripping out at another blogster, particularly Jack. He has NOTHING to do with the content of my blog, I just paraphrased his title for my own purposes and intent and the content of my blog was concerning forum posters and NOT blogsters.
I thought I made that QUITE clear in my blog. If not, then I will refrain from posting anything here anymore since communication seems to be missing on a lot of levels.

PS, I don't have time to read blog entries so if I stepped on someone else's toes, forgive me. It won't happen again because I won't be using this "PERSONAL journal" in the future.
