List of Nuclear Power Plants in America

Published:

Interesting list here with disposition of the various plants.

A friend of a friend lived near the nuclear plant outside Sacramento, Ca. that is now closed. She said at night the thing actually glowed green. It's the only plant that got shut down by public outcry.

Find the ones by you:

Forgot to say 23 in U.S. are the old style as in Japan, much more dangerous.

Thanks for the list. The 'fossil fuel boyz' are sure benefiting from all of this. Hm.

Alternate energy brings to my mind the movie where they bore to the magma. I forgot the name of it but the only thing I remember they got excited when they reached the magma. They started hollerin we hit magma, we hit magma. If I remember right all hell broke loose after they hit magma. It was a long time ago.
I think Sam Jaffe starred in it.

I had to go look it up.
It was Dana Andrews who starred in it.
"Crack In The World" 1965

Fox News: A plane landed in Chicago from Japan and set off radiation detectors. Several airlines refuse to fly to Japan.
