No PAY In April For The Military

Published:

Last Edited: March 21, 2011, 8:11 pm

My son texted us the other day to inform us that they have been informed that in an effort to cut spending the Government has announced to our Armed Forces that they will NOT be recieving a paycheck in April. Is that a crock of sh$t or what? And we all know who the Comander-In-Chief is,,,OBOMA !!!!!!. These soldiers are defending our freedom and this is the thanks they get.  The Prez is the one who approves such a un thought of idea like this.  If anyone should not get paid for April should be those fat cats on Capitol Hill. [

By the way, for those who do not know, my son has already spent one year in Afganistan and is back in Germany. He is Military Police in the Army.

WTF
I thought the constitution said the gov't is to maintain a military force.
That means to get paid as 1st priority.
Many of these other federal programs are not mandatory in the constitution. They should be first to get cut.
Someone is playing politics with our military forces payroll.

What!!! That is aweful!! I heard on the radio today that the GOV is taking the life insurance payouts of our dead soldiers. I wouldn't know how to check that story. Maybe you do.

This is what I found on a quick search.

But more importantly the Constitution gave to the Congress the responsibility for funding the Armed Forces but restricting that funding to a two-year period without additional authorization. This is important point as it clearly highlights the understanding of the founders that no Army can long exist or function without appropriations from the public treasury. By giving Congress alone the power of the purse, the founders provided a check on the Executive, to prevent the person occupying that position from commitment of the Armed Forces of the United States to adventures without the assent of Congress.

It's a shame this pompas ass we have, decides the Military won't be paid in April, but he'll be able to go on his bi-monthly vacations though at the cost of the taxpayer . The constitution will provide even if this JO doesn't care about the Military. Yes sir, we got us a real winner in Washington...!

Okay, I just heard it again about the military is taking the dead soldiers life insurance. You would do well to hear the whole 3 hr. show today of Alex Jones. His guests are Wayne Madisen and Webster Tarpley. Find today's show in the archives at www.gcnlive.com
This show spells out the preplanning of wars in the middle east etc. Go to gcn and find the Alex Jones, infowar show for March 21.

wow, this makes me sick, what have these people done to us, yet they keep the entitlements flowing.
Pray for all our troops, we are sending care packages to Japan my nephew is stationed there and his wife lives on base, she has asked us to send essentials and toys, nobody told them they had to go above and beyond their duty, this is the type off people we have defending us, and now they get screwed, so wrong on more levels then I can count.

Some "commander-In-Chief". And now he goeds to Rio and plays soccer while the raids on Libya are happening. I'd love to hear some of the conversations between the pilots.
