They're going after Libya's underground water system that most of us weren't aware of. That's probably the primary goal of this phase of the mission.
"Odyssey Dawn" is a strange name. The beginning of a long voyage. That implies that this will be extending beyond Libya and has nothing to do with a no-fly zone.

OMG, this is the stupidest thing ever.

The pundits are busy comparing Obama to Bush, saying he's just continuing Bush's policies, but that's a bunch of B.S. Obama started a war without even consulting Congress, as he is obligated to do by the Constitution. Clear-thinking individuals will remember that Bush sought -- and received -- approval from Congress before taking any action in Iraq or Afghanistan.

Put it this way: Obama sought approval from the U.N., France, the U.K., and even the Arab League, but did not consult with his own Congress. What a TRAVESTY.

I agree with Todd re: not consulting Congress AT ALL. This is flagrant abuse of power and downright illegal behavior. Will congress let this stand? Probably. They all bow to the same masters and it does give congress cover for when things start going badly on their "odyssey".

This thorn has just about pulled one to many actions thinking he's above the Law. Congressmen and Senators alike need to acquire a set of testicles and give this Jr.Senator the 'BOOT".....!

I wonder who Bush got permission from to create a police state based on a bogus war. 9/11 was an inside job, and Bush knows it, and a very good portion of the American folks who did their homework and see the overwhelming evidence. And it's so tragic that everytime I compare Bush, I get rediculed. How easily we forget the elite driven agendas behind 99% of what happens in our world. It's not the presidents, but who tells them to do what they do. I can't believe after all these years, most folks still don't get it.

Oh that dumb Joker17 guy always bringing up Bush and 9/11.....what a kook.....well.....it still hasn't been resolved, and until the guilty parties go to prison for what they and their higher ups are doing to us behind closed doors, i will always bring Bush and his cronies into the picture.
