As I've said before, I've been on LP for some years now....... So don't let the membership date fool ya! I've heard from a lot of folks regarding them having been "TAKEN" by scammers and swindlers. If you Live in NYS or the Person Resides in NYS, you can contact the Office of The Attorney General and file a formal complaint. I know it's so embarassing for you. Who wants the world to know, let alone posters on a forum to know, they've been hoodwinked and bamboozled out of THEIR money?
Depending on how many complaints are made and charges being brought up, you may and/or could get back "SOME" of your money, NYS also provides a Victims Unit that reimburses Victims of Such crimes as this.
Give it a shot!!!
You can google (Office of Attorney General New York State Complaints) for the Link.
