9/11 Responders To Be Screened For Terrorism Ties

WASHINGTON -- A provision in the new 9/11 health bill may be adding insult to injury for people who fell sick after their service in the aftermath of the 2001 Al Qaeda attacks, The Huffington Post has learned.

The tens of thousands of cops, firefighters, construction workers and others who survived the worst terrorist assault in U.S. history and risked their lives in its wake will soon be informed that their names must be run through the FBI’s terrorism watch list, according to a letter obtained by HuffPost.

Any of the responders who are not compared to the database of suspected terrorists would be barred from getting treatment for the numerous, worsening ailments that the James Zadroga 9/11 Health And Compensation Law was passed to address.

The provision was added in an amendment by Rep. Cliff Stearns (R-Fla.) during the heated debate over the bill in the House Energy and Commerce Committee last May.

Ask not what your country can do for you ... because it's no longer your country and you're just going to be disappointed.

"Adding insult to injury" is an understatement. Cliff Stearns will have a rude awakening when it's his turn to be thrown under the bus by the hell spawn. He will be left banging on the locked bunker doors as the pitchfork-wielding crowd bears down on him. All lower level minions should take note.

It's really not that big of a deal.

I just read the amendment, it says if you're a terror suspect with the DHS, then you won't get free care. I mean I hateeeeeeeee the DHS, I believe it's unnecessary, but honestly, I think people are just gonna make a big deal out of nothing with this.

I seem to recall a man in the UK who used just such a list to his advantage. His wife went back to Pakistan to visit Mom and Dad. While she was gone, he put her name on the terrorist list. She was denied passage back to England.

The moral of the story is: Be very careful who you offend. They might have the authority to put your name on the terrorist list. Coming soon to a Gulag near you. Thanks, Obama.

Sadly this fits here:

"America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves."
