It's the newest craze across America, working in a store the specializes in bulk candy we are always on the lookout. It is mostly teens and young adults. why earn it when you can just steal it.
God is keeping score, and this massive theft will not go un-noticed.

The good cameras should identify some of these thieves, especially the ringleader in the red shirt. This goes beyond shoplifting; it's a mob action. If the total stolen is high enough, charge them all with a felony and throw them in jail.

The clerk was staying out of the way.
People don't look at the long-term consequences of things like this. These same people will be complaining 5 years from now about having to drive into other communities to get their basic necessities (imagine the cost of gas by then) and complaining that there are few shops local to where they live.
