it still requires studying the numbers. gotta figure out automation and backtesting, but I have a string for tonight's PA daily number... they are announcers, prequalified by precursors... selection criteria was most frequent, and when a tie, with most frequent in the last 3 months.
here goes nothing... PA evening for 12/11/2005...

missed digit 1, hit digit 2, hit digit 3
66% not too bad for a half-finished "system"
position one summary (I missed, odds were 2:8) 9 was a digit in a four-way tie for fourth most frequent... I picked the leaders 1 and 2
position 2 summary (woohoo, 2:8) 7 was the clear cut leader, 4 was second
position 3 summary (yahoo,2:8) 9 was way ahead, 4 in second
overall... I had but 8 picks (2 numbers per position) and caught 2 of 3. Not 3 of 3, but I was playin' on paper anyway... I think I really need to test this more completely, because 8 combos a day won't break the bank. the real problem will be cooking up a backtest sheet that won't totally bog down the PC.
I am encouraged by the results and will continue development :-)
