Don't knock kudzu...it's edible, plentiful and it grows fast. In a severe food shortage it could be a lifesaver.

Thanks Rick! Understand it's edible by humans .... horses and cows like it pretty well too. My main objection is it covers tree canopies killing them.

I wonder if goats tend to pull of the plants with roots when they graze? Growing up on a ranch when we got tired of mowing the lawn my dad put up an electric fence around it and put the sheep in there. Ah the memories, running into the electric wire all the time - forgetting it was there! LOL

This is near me, never stare down a goat!

Now they'll wind up with too many goats. Then they'll have to hire that lady who swallowed the fly ... ;-)

Thanks TigerAngel! I've heard of goats being used to clear out underbrush but have never been around them except in a petting zoo.

Thanks Jarasan! They're cute though, aren't they?

Thanks Time*treat! Properly cooked they taste good so many uses for surplus goats. ;-)

I heard tell goat is a delicacy in the Muslim diet. Should be a market for goat in the U.S..

Thanks JAP! Can be found frozen and cut up in many international markets in Atlanta. My palette says it tastes like strong lamb.
