"........ In addition to finding that far less heat is being trapped than alarmist computer models have predicted, the NASA satellite data show the atmosphere begins shedding heat into space long before United Nations computer models predicted. ........"

Thanks for the article. I think only the fully committed left-wing nuts didn't see that one coming. Does anyone with half a brain still think New York will be underwater by the end of the decade?

Thanks Konane, Many people made big bucks off the fear mongering. If they were that concerned they would be out planting trees everyday instead of the once a year photo-op.

Thanks Todd! I think the sensible metaphysical community has been ahead of the curve on the global warming issue by predicting earth entering another mini ice age, stating earth's warming cycle always precedes a cooling cycle. They're also saying scientists know the earth has been warming from the core, not from external sources such as greenhouse gasses. Additionally they're predicting about a 10' sea level increase instead of 'computer model' predicted 20'. However, media reports conveniently leave out scientifically stated facts that our entire solar system has been warming. How many SUV's are on other planets????

Thanks Sully! Yes indeed plant trees to shade the earth & produce oxygen. We have lots of old growth dying from drought, tornadoes, etc., so most certainly need new seedlings in the ground.

I'm much more concerned about the NASA data we're not hearing about. "Global warming" may be the very least of our problems 14 months from now.

@konane and sully: I hesitate to elaborate because much of the info I'm coming across is speculative. To answer sully's question, it's bigger than an asteroid and it's not a strike we have to worry about as much as the earth and sun's electro-magnetic interaction with this object when all three are in alignment that may be of concern. The date would be 9/27/2012. On 9/27/11 'comet Elenin' will be in the same alignment. Something bigger may be following Elenin by exactly one year. Watch for solar system anomalies. If the speculation is true it will become more apparent as that day approaches.

Thanks Em! Think he already made enough in the first wave of the hysteria. Maybe he'll see his fortune disappear the same way some are seeing their pensions evaporate.

Thanks Rick! Understand now .... thank you for that information. I figure we can't change earth's trajectory so it's going to be an interesting ride.

Me too..! I especially like to do this when I'm watching reruns of Al Gore accepting his prize from that oxygen starved committee..

Thanks TigerAngel! Exactly what I was doing last winter while it SNOWED like crazy here. Expect we'll be seeing lots more of the white stuff in the next few years.

Thanks Maddog! Didn't headlines a few months back say he was doing something other than accepting awards and 'inventing the internet'? =)
