I'm figuring to get around to reading your blog and will certainly comment as I've done in the past. Hi hodds. figure on it.

Happy one to you also, TA. It's whatever you make it out to be.

For me a Happy New Year is a year beginning a person agrees with himself to be happy and grateful during. I usually wrap up the ending of the last year with a lot of gratitude for the ups and downs of that one, try to put a nice wrapper on it, tie a purdy bow knot on it, and set it off to the side to make room for all the stuff coming down during the next one.

But one of my goals for every new year is to live it, or die during it, concurrent with looking it over pretty carefully, sniffing all around it, and making sure I'm properly grateful for all the subtlties.

Have a grateful, happy new year.
