The Tea Party isn't mainly racist. There ARE racists in it, because it's so decentralized, that's inevitable. The vast majority of us aren't racist at all, in fact, plenty of us (me included) are minorities in this country, who believe in individual liberty. The only real uniting factors between Tea Party members are 1) Fiscal Conservatism and possibly 2) a strict adherence to Constitutional Law. Everything else is up in the air, we're individualists, by definition Tea Party activists disagree a lot, we just agree REALLY STRONGLY on certain issues, and that's where the coalition formed.
