What they really need to do is NOT MAKE THAT MUCH IN THE FIRST PLACE. No job in the U.S. should pay more than $400,000/yr, including bonuses and benefits.

We don't need a minimum wage, we need a maximum wage.

$400,000/yr doesn't buy as much as it used to.

TC that is about as ridiculous thing I've heard in a long time with that shining flash of brilliance then no lottery prize should ever exceed $400K. Cmon for God's sake think think think think.

@ jarasan

Nope. Lottery is not a job. Millions would still be available for the prizes. Once the top pay for jobs is set at $400,000 - then those people will also start playing the lottery in droves!

Nope, no, nothing TC you are a fascist, you can't pick and choose what someone can earn or win.   Income is income is income is income is income. Monet is monet is monet. According to your second flash of brilliance, the only $400K+ rich are lottery winners???????????????

HUH??? HOW in the world do you arrive at that? If I am, then the world is.

Go and apply at McDonalds - they tell you they pay $8/hr. Go and apply at Ford Motor - They say you start at $16 / $19 per hour. Why should it be open-ended at the top? My plan says, you apply for a CEO, you get a maximum of $400,000. NO ONE IS WORTH $20 million per picture or per year for playing football, etc; I just put a cap on it at $400,000 because the President being the most powerful man in the world only gets that much. (Obama isn't even worth that much, in my opinion).

Well we agree on two things. The value of an Obama and the REST of the world is fascist/communist/socialist.   USA was the only place left on Earth that one's opportunities were unlimited, and with people like yourself suggesting one's income is limited, is sickening and flies in the face of the freedoms that made the USA so great. Have you ever been out of this country?????????

I know you are dismissing my plan without really trying to understand and I am probably not explaining my plan complete enough in this small space for you to understand.
