I am so happy to be back home.

I've had all types of hell break loose these past few weeks.

It is said that grief travels in groups of three.......

Well I've had my three and I now look forward to a world of piece and quiet.

Grief #1:  My father-in-law died 10-04-2011. Went to ICU to say good-bye to father-in-law. 

Grief #2:  Arrived home and was told that my baby sister had been rushed to the hospital. Discovered that she had a seizure. 

Arrived back at the same hospital to find out what's going on, and discovered that she had another seizure on the MRI table.   

NOTE: No one in our family has ever had a seizure........ EVER!!!! Now we're scratching our heads and butts trying to learn why a healthy 40 + woman would have a seizure out of the blue.     Sister was discharged from the hospital on 10-06-11 and is doing great.

Grief # 3:  On 10-08-11 I was admitted into the hospital with a dvt (bloodclot) in the right leg from the knee to the navel.    

Once again clotting problems does not run in the family... Still scratching our heads and butts......

During the whole time I was in the hospital I was lamenting that I did not have a netbook and portable internet access.

If I did, I would've spent all day and all night here at LP.... Without it the hospital stay was brutal and boring on the mind, having three IV's and blood draw, after blood draw, after blood draw, after blood draw. One upside to the hospital stay was the morphine given for the pain. Although it did not kill the pain or put me to sleep, and it made my chest hurt, I did get a little buzz.   

So there it is............ 

That is why I've not been posting for awhile.
