6 Inches From Death...

Did a follow-up with my doctor and was told that I was supposed to be rolled into the ER as a corpse. She was astonished and surprised that I walked into her office without a care in the world. She told me that I should have had a stroke with the severity of the DVT that was inside of me.

I began to tell her how I expect GOD to take care of me because I am too stupid to take care of myself. I told her to look at every Pulmonary Embolism episode that is listed in my chart and see how GOD has done HIS job just as I expected HIM to.

I always give GOD full credit for my very existance. It is because of the protection of GOD that I am alive to tell folks about the 5 Pulmonary Embolisms and the DVT that I recently experienced.

My doctor informed me that I was 6 inches from death. She told me that had the clot moved 6 inches higher I would be very much dead. To show you how powerful my GOD is, I was informed that normally DVT's travel upwards. My DVT started in my lower gut and travelled downward stopping at my right knee.

What I thought was sciatica was once again GOD doing HIS job!!!!! There is NOTHING anyone on this earth can tell me about my GOD and HIS generosity!!!

Two days after my surgery, I was sitting indian-style in my hospital bed watching cartoons and talking on the phone.

Not one time did it ever occur to me that there was a possibility that I could die.

DANG!!!!!! My GOD is..........WOW words cannot describe what I am experiencing right now. I wish I could tell you about all of the things that GOD has done for me. Right now I want to scream and cry because of the immense love and concern and support that GOD has showered on me.

Thank YOU DAD for everything YOU do for me every second of my existance.
It is because of YOU I exist.
YOUR love for me cannot be measured.
YOUR care of me cannot all be told.
Everything I know about YOU came straight from YOU.
My reliance on YOU is total and complete.
My expectations from YOU are simple.
Thank YOU DAD for everything YOU do for me every second of my existance.

@ BAHAMAS36 the day I went into the hospital was 10-08.
The firestation number that responded to the 911 call is 212.
The last room number I remember is 7038.
5 Pulmonary embolisms...1 DVT.....2 days for clot to manifest itself....6 inches too short....6th time death got his butt kicked by GOD.....

@four4me....
I am coumadin resistant. Been on thinners since 2005 after the first pulmonary embolism. My body kicks heparin, lovenox, and coumadin out. My test results are like I never took the drug.
I constantly monitor my foods and take the medication like a religion. Heck..... I even wear ted hose. Still, clots, clots, clots......
According to all of the doctors, my body has a tendency to over produce vit k. :( It takes the thinners almost 10 days to thin my blood to the point where the doctors are comfortable with me just taking coumadin.
That's why I am constantly thanking GOD for every moment of my life. It is because of HIM showing up and showing out that I am able to come here and see my online family...... :D
