question about vehicle...help needed

Published:

i have a 1997 chevy astro van.i bought it a couple months ago and got rid of the z-28 due to my kids.the question is this.i went to put some antifreeze in my van here a while back and put the regular green antifreeze in it because it needed just a little bit not much.well i found out tonight that it already had the red kind of antifreeze in it.they put the red kind in the newer GM model cars ever since 1997 i think.i wish the person i bought it from would've told me this because now i'm wondering if i made a mistake by mixing a little green with it.if anyone knows anything on this subject i would appreciate some advice,
             thanks.......

Don't worry about it, the red stuff is just a longer lasting antifreeze, supposed to last 5 years...shouldn't do any harm...
