My son is sick. You know, the psychic one. He suffered a bout of viral menningitis throughout January and hasnt recovered enough to spend a whole day at school yet. The nurse doesnt believe him anymore when he shows up with the need to lie down in the office. I dont like her for it. Once before he was sick he missed a lot of school but that was 9 years ago. I dont remember anything but concern from that school nurse . He likes school. He likes woodshop and art. No bad grades. Not a troublemaker. Just a quiet soul. A thinker, knowing far more than he ll ever tell me. I thought of my dad this morning and I told him, "Wills sick" He nodded. He knew. Before he died he told me how much he liked Wills long hair- when everyone else was telling him to get it cut. Smile. Said it reminded him of Prince Valiant. ? Ill look that up- lol. Id be lying if I told you I wasnt worried. Im tremendously worried about him. Thanks for listening.

I don't know what the problem is with that school nurse, but a note from the doctor explaining his instructions for your son should change that nurse's attitude. The American Disabilities Act is one of the strongest laws on the books, and anyone that is disabled due to physical or mental illnesses are protected under that law.
You are a very good writer, and I would write to the school board with my complaints concerning that nurse, sending a copy to the principal of that school. I would make it very difficult for them to keep treating my son in an adverse manner, I would hound them to defeat.
I hope you stay strong, and remember God is with you with every step you take.
Tell that nurse to keep her personal opinions out of it and do her job. He's probably interrupting her lunch or coffee break or something.
